A few months ago, there was a rumor that the GeForce RTX 5090 would have a power consumption of 600 watts. This is now officially confirmed to be slightly lower than 575 watts, but overclocked partner models are apparently the exception. The Zotac RTX 5090 AMP Extreme Infinity is specified with 600 watts.
This information can be found on public product pages, so it’s anything but hidden. Zotac is one of the few card partners to already list the full specifications of their GeForce RTX 5090 and GeForce RTX 5080 models.
The Zotac RTX 5090 AMP Extreme Infinity is the new flagship and the TDP, which has been increased by 25 watts, reflects the GPU clock speed, which has been increased to 2,467 MHz. The Zotac RTX 5090 Solid OC in turn reaches 2,422 MHz with 575 watts unchanged, which also applies to the non-overclocked RTX 5090 Solid with 2,407 MHz.

Ultimately, it remains to be seen whether the 600 watts is an incorrect value, as the RTX 5080 AMP Extreme Infinity does not have a higher power consumption and, like its sister models, is 360 watts. Additionally, Zotac had now specified the memory speed of 30 Gbps for the GeForce RTX 5090 Solid OC, as recorded by VideoCardz in a screenshot. But now it is back to 28 Gbps.

The specifications of Zotac’s RTX 5080 models, all specified at 360 watts, can also be compared on the manufacturers’ websites. The RTX 5080 is set to 30Gbps. However, the series only has half the memory with half the memory interface.
