Glorious’ Series 2 Pro is a feather-light wireless mouse for gamers meant to rival the Logitech G Pro and buttons, among others.
Spoiler: only for right-handed people
The case, which measures just 119 × 62 × 38 mm (L × W × H), is smaller than many competitors in the lightweight segment. The shape remains symmetrical, but the side buttons are only on the left. The Series 2 Pro is therefore only suitable for right-handed users.
Glorious’ optical buttons are responsible for clicks and are designed to withstand 100 million presses. The datasheet leaves open the question of whether they are under all the keys or just the two main keys. The buttons can be reprogrammed into three built-in profiles. For this, Glorious relies on Core 2 software.
New old sensor
The movements are transmitted by the BAMF-2 sensor from Glorious, already used in the O 2 model or the D 2 model, for example. Image data such as the sampling rate of up to 26,000 dpi and the reference to Motion Sync suggest that it is a derivative of the Pixart PAW3395.

The mouse transmits data via USB-C cable or 2.4 GHz radio. In both cases, the polling rate is 8,000 Hz. Despite the battery, Glorious maintains a low weight: the Series 2 Pro weighs 55 grams, making it about as heavy as competing models in its class . Runtimes could reach 80 hours with a proprietary battery, with a polling rate of 1000 Hz. With the faster polling rate, you can expect less usage time. However, the mouse does not have RGB lighting; according to the product images, there is only one status LED.
Everything is now becoming new
The Series 2 Pro will be produced in black and white and will cost just under 140 euros in Europe. However, the model is still not available in stores. The mouse completes the current new edition of peripherals: with the rodent, Glorious, on the other hand, has a luxury input device in addition to the keyboards of the completely new GMMK 3 series.
