Starting today, the Gemini app for iPhone is available for download from the App Store. With the help of the app, you can now access Google’s AI personal assistant directly from your iPhone. Using Gemini on iPhone is free.
Direct access via the Gemini app
Previously, Gemini on iOS could only be used through the Google app or a web browser. With the Gemini app for iOS, access is now a little simpler and more direct. As mentioned at the beginning, you can also use Gemini Live on your iPhone to have a natural conversation with Gemini. It is also possible to interrupt Gemini to ask a question or change the subject. You can choose from 10 different voices for conversations. Gemini Live on iPhone is now available in 10 languages, but Google also announced at launch that more languages will follow soon.

Learn with Gemini
Google is also considering learning with Gemini as a possible use on iPhone, where you can ask any questions you have and also receive personalized learning plans. Gemini also aims to provide you with individual support that adapts to your personal learning style, and you can then test the knowledge acquired during a quiz. Additionally, you can, for example, upload a complex diagram through the app and have Gemini ask questions on a specific topic that matches the diagram.
