GPU Tweak III: ASUS now supports
From the beginning, the ASUS GeForce RTX Astral series (RTX 5090 and 5080) and Matrix series (RTX 4090) reported the current on all six power pins via a 12V-2×6 connection via the GPU Tweak III tool. However, users had to actively check if everything was compatible. After an update, the tool now provides independent warnings.
ASUS calls this new feature Power Detector+; it is not available on the cheaper TUF Gaming and Prime models.

Different resistances of the plug connections on the socket and cables could be the cause of the RTX 5090 fire damage reported by users. GPU Tweak III provides status information on the 12V-2×6 connection (Astral and Matrix only)
