In the race for the highest refresh rate for monitors, the little-known Chinese manufacturer Koorui is at the forefront. At CES 2025, it is presenting a gaming monitor with an impressive 750 Hz. Series production is planned for 2025.
750 Hertz is still 150 Hz more than MSI‘s MPG 242R X60N, which starts at 600 Hz. The maximum currently available in stores is 540 Hz.

A TN panel is also used in the Koorui G7. This one measures 24.5 inches diagonally and offers a Full HD resolution of 1,920 × 1,080 with the said 750 Hz. The response time should be 0.5 ms and the DCI-P3 color spectrum should be covered by 95 percent. The last detail mentioned is “HDR 400”, which probably stands for the corresponding DisplayHDR 400 certification according to the VESA specifications.

Koorui wants to produce the 750 Hz monitor in series this year and offer it “worldwide”, according to the plan. In fact, Koorui is now also offering its monitors at selected German online retailers.
Even 1,000 Hz is already possible
The refresh rate of gaming monitors is gradually increasing. Chinese display manufacturer TCL CSOT demonstrated at SID Display Week 2024 in May that 1,000 Hz is possible, at least as a prototype.
In this context, it is conceivable that there will be a TCL panel behind Koorui’s 750 Hz monitor. However, there is no mention of this in the press release released by TCL CSOT at the same time for CES 2025.
More innovations from Koorui at CES
Koorui has more news in store for CES. Among other things, the 32″ OG32UK OLED monitor with 4K UHD and 480 Hz will be presented. The GS49UK is in turn a DQHD monitor with 5,120 × 1,440 pixels in 32:9 widescreen format on 49 inches. This one should also have a high refresh rate.
