Christmas sales: Epic offers The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria and many discounts 33 comments

This week, the Epic Games Store takes its players to the largest and most famous dwarf kingdom in the Lord of the Rings saga with The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria. The online role-playing game can be added to your library and downloaded for free until December 19, 2024 at 5 p.m.

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria takes place in the Fourth Age of the fantasy world of The Lord of the Rings. Players take on the role of a dwarf in the kingdom of Moria. In addition to role-playing elements and fighting against orcs, completing tasks and crafting items are also the focus of the online game.
With a metascore of 59/100 and a user rating of 7.2, the game is only lukewarmly received by players. In the Steam community, the game is at least considered “very positive”. The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria usually costs around 24 euros.
Christmas campaign with question marks
While the Epic Games Store last year offered a bigger discount and a free promotion, which included The Outer Worlds (test) and Marvel’s Guardian of the Galaxy (test) for free, such a promotion is still vacant this year.
Smaller rumors previously spoke of an Advent calendar, but to date this has not come to fruition. Only the “loyalty program”, in which 5% of the purchase price was returned to the store’s account in the form of cashback when purchasing a game, was recently increased to 10%.
