During today’s market launch of Nvidia’s Blackwell graphics cards, Intel released new drivers for their Arc and XE series GPUs. With the new drivers 32.01 6657 and 32.0.101.6262, three new video games are supported, and there are also performance improvements for Sid Meier’s Civilization 7 and F1 24.
Support for new games and performance improvements
With driver package 32.01.6557 / 32.0.101.6262, Intel creates compatibility with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and Sid Meier’s Civilization 7. In good standing Error loops and performance improvements by the manufacturers of hardware, so there may be lower reviews or performance.
In addition to support for the three games mentioned, Intel also specifies performance improvements for F1 24 for B-series graphics cards. At 1080p and high details, Battlemage graphics cards are expected to increase by up to 15 % for the average frame rate, while at 1440p it should be around 12% with the same settings.
Intel also promises performance improvements for F1 24 and Sid Meier’s Civilization 7 for Intel Lunar Lake integrated graphics cards. F1 24 is expected to grow by 12% in 1080p resolution, while Sid Meier’s Civilization 7 is expected to grow by almost 8%.
Virtually no errors and known issues
As a single error fix, Intel leads that the drivers for the Arc B-series graphics cards may have reported the wrong XE core count. Additionally, no other error loops are listed in the changelog.
In F1 24, there are two issues with Battlemage graphics cards that can lead to a crash. If Xess FG is used, settings changes should not be made during a race. It could also be if Xess 2 is enabled that the game crashes in the Alt+Enter key combination.
In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 for A-series graphics cards, shadows may be shown in the campaign.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 may occur when using the DirectX 11 API. Horizon: Zero Dawn Remastered under DirectX 12, if frame generation has been enabled, is also affected by crashes.
