Jonsbo C6 Max: The Big Little Case Can Also “Gaming High-End” 21 comments

Jonsbo is releasing a larger version of the C6 ITX case. Thanks to the increased space, the big little case can also accommodate larger graphics cards and therefore games. Furthermore, the C6 Max should score at a low price.
The design language and construction remain true to the C6 ITX. The new C6 Max is only enlarged in depth, increasing from about 16 to almost 21 liters in volume. It can therefore accommodate micro-ATX main panels and much longer expansion cards. This is an advantage for gaming because it allows for the use of more powerful GPUs and better cooling solutions.
More space means more airflow.
The cuboid design disguises Jonsbo with mesh panels as usual; the handle remains on top. With the C6 Max, however, there is now a window on the side that reduces the mesh area. The increased depth, which allows for a second 120 mm fan at the top and bottom, is compensated, increasing the number of fans to a maximum of five. Active ventilation must be purchased; however, typical Jonsbo fans are not included.

The power supply remains at the front. An SFX or ATX model can be placed here. The maximum length is 220 millimeters, which is at the expense of the expansion card. It can be between 300 and 335 millimeters long, which, with four expansion slots, can also be sufficient for high-end models.
Higher cooling, small hard keys
There are still no limits to the CPU cooler: the C6 is relatively narrow, but since there is no space left behind the main board, the CPU can be cooled with a maximum tower height of 170 millimeters. Exceptions are only made in individual cases.
If a hard drive in a 2.5″ or 3.5″ form factor is to be installed in the case, this is at the expense of cooling. It then occupies a fan slot on the bottom of the housing. This layout shows that storage space is increasingly being outsourced to the M.2 format, especially in the SFF segment, which can be found directly on the main board.
The C6 Max is offered in black and white. The variants do not differ in price: they each cost around 59 euros plus shipping.
