Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2: Patch 1.2 brings modding support and hairdresser 38 comments
Patch 1.2 for Come Kingdom: Deliverance 2 (in the benchmark test) completes a hairdresser in addition to countless bug fixes and improvements. With the hairdresser, Heinrich can be optically changed on his head and face. The patch completes modding support with medieval adventure and DLSS 4 super resolution.
Heinrich has his hair beautiful
If you were not yet satisfied with the hair splendor of your hero in Kingdom: Deliverance 2, you can visit a hairdresser after installing patch 1.2 in Zhelejov or Kuttenberg. There the main hair and beard can be designed in different haircuts.
The changes take longer than a She
Even though there is only a small update in the message in the Steam store, the download size is over 60 gigabytes and the list of changes is also very long. The developers promise improvements in almost every area of the game.
This includes, for example, improvements to NPC animations or better cow and bull death animations. After the Archer competition, the arrows are automatically replenished. More than 20 changes were made during game balancing, including how quickly food rots, the price of animal meat or the cost of equipment for horses. Various achievements now cause higher damage, at the same time the player can also fire their weapon when hit. The animation must not be interrupted.
Other changes affect combat, crimes, cutscenes, daily activities, the dice game, graphical improvements such as casting the shadow of St. James Church, sneaking, the user interface, and horse riding and action, among others. A fast travel point has been added to Bozhena’s hut. A large number of quests have also undergone changes. At the same time, the game’s overall performance and stability have reportedly been improved.
DLSS 4 now also in the Middle Ages
PC players and owners of a suitable NVIDIA graphics card have found an option for DLSS 4 Super Resolution in the graphics settings since patch 1.2. There is currently no information on how the corresponding FSR or XESS options will be supported, or whether other DLSS features such as multi-frame generation or frame generation will be expanded. Modding should be easier
With this patch, Warhorse Studios aims to make it easier to install community mods. Installation is recommended via the Steam Workshop, where mods can be easily subscribed to, then automatically downloaded and installed. MODs can also be installed manually, and the unpackaged modification must be copied into the mods/directory. All other questions about the guidelines apply and how to create and publish your own mods have been summarized by the developers on an informational website and in the modding wiki.
Some players need patience.
All changes in the patch can be found in the changelog on the manufacturer’s website. While game owners can already download the 61.2 gigabyte patch via Steam, the developers are asking players of the Epic version of the in-game stores to be patient, but the patch should also appear there soon. The promised hardcore mode will appear in a later patch.
