The DK-07 computer desk, first shown as a prototype by Lian Li at Computex 2023, is now available. Two can be installed for a suggested price of approximately $1,400 (before taxes). A recessed glass worktop provides a view of the system.

Height-adjustable table case

Although Lian Li has not communicated pricing or availability for the official presentation at its own in-house exhibition in spring 2024, this is now literally out of the question. The DK-07 is based on its predecessor DK-05 in a different design. While the DK-05 had a full glass surface, this is only the case with the DK-07 in the PC system area. The table measures 1480 mm, of which 950 mm in the middle is made of 6 mm thick safety glass. The sides are brushed aluminum. The table is 805mm deep. The height of the Lian Li DK-07 can be adjusted from 676mm to 1162mm, so you can also work standing up.

However, the prototype and the previously officially presented model differ greatly from the just released DK-07. Under the side shelves are drawers in which an organizational system is installed that had not been considered before. A cup holder with and warming functions has once again been streamlined. The same goes for a hidden compartment in the right side shelf.

Luxury versions still have question marks

Since the Lian Li DK-07 presented now is very different, it is also questionable whether the previously presented luxury versions of the table will be available. During the original presentation, Lian Li showed off the DK-07 with an integrated 30-inch transparent display under the glass. There should also be a version with smart glass that could be tinted opaque at the touch of a button.

A few reviews of the new Lian Li DK-07 at least focus on the transparent screen and show it as an optional kit, which will also cost around $450. However, this is not mentioned at all on the IT Desk product page.

2 PC systems with E-ATX possible

Two PC systems in E-ATX format can be installed in the Lian Li DK-07. The maximum GPU length is limited to 383mm in both cases. The CPU cooler can protrude up to 180mm in height. Two ATX power supplies with a maximum length of 220 mm can be installed. There are possible restrictions between dual or single configuration when it comes to fan and hard drive configuration.

Not yet available in the EU

The Lian Li DK-07 is officially available since yesterday. However, the table case is not yet listed anywhere in Europe. The recommended price is around 1,400 US dollars, so a price of around 1,700 euros is possible in this country. The predecessor DK-05 cost around 2,100 euros when it was introduced in 2020 and dropped to a street price of around 1,650 euros after about a year. The smart glass model (DK-05F) remained around 2,500 euros for almost a year in 2023 before falling back to around 2,130 euros shortly before its withdrawal.
