Mars Gaming MCORB Circular Tower: This case forms a circle of fans around the hardware 57 comments

The MCORB circular tower from Mars Gaming has nine fans in a circle around the components. This is possible because the shape of the Micro-ATX case is also a circle, which gives the model a unique design.
Circle literally means literally: the circular tower has a round design. Nine fans are evenly distributed around the case and covered with rectangular elements whose position serves as an air inlet. However, the fans must be purchased. However, due to their shape, only radiators of up to 120 mm can be used with water cooling systems. One each fits at the front, back and under the lid.
Featured components
Fans on all sides: This only works with the circular tower because the components are moved to the middle of the case circle. This also applies to the power supply, which simply moves downwards but to the middle of the tower. The Micro-ATX motherboard, for which there are four expansion slots, is also located relatively centrally above. The I/O ports of the card are therefore not closed at the back of the tower and thus remain “in” the case. However, Mars Gaming saves on dust filters.

This compartment can accommodate CPU coolers up to a height of 180 millimeters and graphics cards up to a length of 340 millimeters. There are therefore currently no restrictions to note; both areas can currently be used without restrictions. The circular tower hides the hard drives behind the motherboard tray. There are four slots for two 3.5″ hard drives and two 2.5″ hard drives.
The tower is limited only by the I/O panel. In 2024, a USB 3.0 and a USB 2.0 with Type A connector and HD audio ports will only be standard in the absolute budget range. From a purchase price of 80 euros there is usually already a USB-C port.
Relatively cheap price
Given its shape, the circular tower, available in black, white and red, is effectively in the “budget” range: depending on the color, the case currently costs between 150 and around 170 euros plus shipping costs.
