The ad copy – “Roll out the classic as a new era of flagship foldable excellence begins” – particularly highlights the recently introduced Mate X6, which was expected to launch globally from the get-go. The Mate X6 is a “classic foldable” with a hinge and a large foldable screen inside the smartphone and a second screen on the outside. In the Mate, the LTPO external screen, on the other hand, measures 6.45 inches and offers Full HD resolution. While the larger screen can shine at up to 1,800 cd/m², the outer screen has even 2,500 cd/m².

However, for the Mate 70 series, it is currently rumored that it will not be available outside of China initially. A corresponding announcement from Huawei at the event would therefore be a surprise.
