New generation graphics cards from Asus: TUF & Prime for Radeon, new “ROG Astral” series for GeForce 103
Almost a week before CES 2025 in Las Vegas, more and more details are emerging on the products that will be officially presented at the show. On

On the Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT side, an SKU from Asus’ Prime and TUF series is mentioned. As usual, AMD graphics cards are no longer available in the upper mid-range of the Taiwanese manufacturer; there is no version in the form of a ROG Strix. However, there seems to have been a reduction at the same time, as the Dual series was otherwise the entry-level class.
Both the RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT are said to have 16GB of video memory. In specs assumed based on rumors, the cards are likely to be classified as follows:

New ROG Astral series exclusively for Nvidia
Unlike AMD Radeon, Asus also offers graphics cards equipped with Nvidia GPUs with ROG designs superior to the TUF series. For the GeForce RTX 5080, a new yet unpublished series called Astral and not a ROG Strix is mentioned at this stage. Further details are not yet known, speculation below the post points to a white card.
In addition to the new ROG Astral, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 will also be available as the cheaper TUF and Prime series. A 16GB VRAM memory expansion is once again being mooted for the RTX 5080, which matches previous spec leaks and is now considered secure.
