Although there are already OLED monitors with 4K UHD resolution on 27-inches, these are not designated gaming displays with a 60Hz refresh rate. Asus and Dell are expecting the first 27″ monitors with QD panels soon OLED, 4K UHD and 240 Hz. At least there is plenty of evidence to suggest this.
Asus teases the PG27UCDM and
Asus drew attention to the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM with a teaser video on Instagram. The video is no longer available at the original web address, but YouTube channel HDTVTest recorded it and commented that this is the first 27-inch OLED monitor with 4K UHD, QD OLED panel and 240 Hz.
This assumption is obvious, because the already available sister model PG32UCDM is a QD-OLED display with 4K UHD and 240 Hz, which is simply significantly larger at around 32 inches.
At 27 inches and 3840 × 2160 pixels, the pixel density of 163 ppi is relatively high for monitors. Since the OLED panel is supposed to measure 26.5 inches, it would even be 166 ppi.

Samsung’s new QD-OLED panel available in 2025
There were already indications from China about the corresponding 27-inch, 4K UHD and 240 Hz QD-OLED panel. A table shows the corresponding key data for two monitors from the local brand SDC “Light Soul”, which should appear next year.

Asus also plans to present the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM in 2025. The new ROG monitor will be presented at CES 2025. However, a market launch much later cannot be ruled out, as has often been the case in the monitor sector .

Dell Alienware AW2725Q expected with the same panel
Meanwhile, TFT Central is teasing another model for the Western market, the Dell Alienware AW2725Q, which will also use the aforementioned 27″, UHD, 240Hz QD-OLED panel.

We expect the AW2725Q to be a new 27″ 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolution model with a 240Hz refresh rate, given that the “Q” was used for their AW3225QF 32″ 4K model instead of the “D” used for their AW2725DF 27″ 1440p. Likely built around a Samsung QD-OLED panel again with a flat form factor and a semi-glossy screen coating. This would deliver a new higher pixel density and resolution in the 27″ space that many people have been waiting for.
