NF-A12X25 G2: Noctua, after the 140mm, also adds 42 comments
In this case, the roadmap presented a year ago was correct: the second generation of Noctua’s 120mm NF-A12X25 fans is ready. The NF-A12X25 G2 will be released in June, thus being announced in the second quarter of a year ago. If you prefer black, you’ll still have to wait.
NF-A12X25 G1 and G2 in comparison
Like the NF-A14X25 (R) G2 (details) presented a year ago with the NH-D15 G2, the second generation of smaller fans should offer more power at the same volume. The changes made for this purpose are also consistent with those known from the larger models.
As a result, the new fan should allow for higher static pressure across the entire speed range with the same current draw, which is beneficial for radiators as well as CPU coolers and case fans.

Price and Availability
The new fans are expected to go on sale in the classic brown tones in June. Their RRP is €34.90, the same as their predecessor, which is currently available retailing from €30. There will also be a set of two fans, whose speeds differ by approximately 50 rpm due to the noise that periodically occurs due to overlapping interference. The Black Chromax.Black variant is promised for the first quarter of 2026.
