May 4th is also celebrated as Star Wars Day in the pop culture world. It’s not an official holiday, but at least this year, many companies are also participating in the event. Gamers can count on discounts on or even completely free Star Wars titles until June.
Four Free Titles
All Amazon Prime subscribers currently receive the two Star Wars classics, Star Wars: The Complete Saga from 2007 and Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds Saga from 2001. Prime subscribers simply need to sign up for Prime Gaming and can secure the games permanently at zero price.
For all other gamers, the Epic Games Store (EGS) has the much more recent title Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The only requirement for free downloads is an EGS account. However, if you want to dust off the free titles, you’ll need to follow the steps: the EGS campaign expires today at 5 PM.

Gog has old classics on offer
If you want to buy even more from the past and still get a DRM-free title, you can visit the dealership Good Old Games: with numerous bundles for classics like X-Wing and Tie Fighter or individual titles like Battlefront from 2004 and Dark Force from 1995, there’s (almost) a retro title for a few euros. On the Overview page, GOG lists bundles and single titles. The campaign on GOG runs until Tuesday morning.
