Samsung is now gradually rolling out the monitor innovations from CES 2025 and GamesCom 2024. These include the Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF) in 27 and 32 inches with 4K and 240 Hz on a QD-OLD panel, the Odyssey 3D (G90FX) with glassless 3D, and the 49-inch Odyssey G9 (G91F). The computer base also has prices. This is how much Samsung’s new gaming monitors cost.
So far, prices have been missing, even after Samsung’s global press office announced the availability of the new models on March 24th, and the German press office did so again yesterday with the same statement. The current German press release states: “The new Odyssey 3D (G90FX), the Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF), and the Odyssey G9 (G91F) have been pre-ordered since this week.” However, this is not (yet) correct, as neither Samsung Germany itself nor online retailers have yet handled the products.
Techastuce has discovered the planned prices and model numbers for Germany, regardless of Samsung’s announcement. Series Model Number OLED G81SF LS27FG814Suxen 1,399 Euros LS32FG814Suxen 1,499 Euros G91F LS49FG916EUXEN 1,159 Euros Odyssey 3D LS27FG904XuxUxen 2,189 Euros

The Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF) was introduced by Samsung along with the Odyssey G6 OLED (G60SF) at CES in Las Vegas in early January. Since then, it has been focusing on both monitors, but the G8 is expected to be available now or soon, while there is still no information on the G6’s launch. Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF)

FreeSync Premium Pro and G-Sync Compatible
Accordingly, the monitors offer VESA certification for DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 and are intended to achieve 250 cd/m² in this region. The manufacturer specifies a GTG response time of 0.03 ms, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync compatible monitors are also offered. The technology is housed in a housing with a “metal design,” which can immerse the environment in the colors displayed by the screen with “Core Lighting+.” The Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF) with a QD-OLED panel costs €1,399 in the 27-inch version and €1,499 in the 32-inch version.
Odyssey 3D (G90FX) offers glasses-free 3D viewing
Also at CES was the Odyssey 3D (G90FX), which supports glasses-free 3D viewing. In fact, Samsung had already presented this monitor at Gamescom 2024 seven months ago. This model is now expected to reach a price of €2,189. There is no trace of the 37-inch model with the VA panel announced at the time; Samsung refers exclusively to the 27-inch variant (LS27FG904XUXEN) with the IPS panel. Samsung Odyssey 3D (G90FX)

Games must support 3D effects
According to Samsung, the monitor makes glasses-free 3D viewing possible through “progressive eye tracking technology and the company’s proprietary lens structure.” A lens grid image is also mentioned as a proven method for autoosteoscopy that creates a profound impression. The three-dimensional effect was convincing at GamesCom, as long as you don’t move your head quickly.
Games must support the 3D effect, which is why Samsung wants to work with major game developers. The first ones include Nexon for the first Berserker: Khazan and Neowiz for Lies of P. Samsung plans to continuously expand its partnerships with other global game studios.
The Odyssey 3D features a 27-inch IPS panel with 3,840 × 2,160 pixels, 165 Hz, and a 1 ms response time (GTG). FreeSync Premium, DisplayPort 1.4, and two HDMI ports are also mentioned. There’s also a height adjustment.
Odyssey G9 (G91F) should make 49-inch curved models accessible
The Odyssey Curved G9 (G91F) is significantly larger at 49 inches, a new, previously unknown signature that Samsung says is supposed to give users “access to ultra-high-end gaming.” This means it’s a cheaper entry into the 49-inch class, with Samsung calling the G91F’s recommended retail price €1,159. The new variant can be seen as a cheaper alternative to the Odyssey OLED G9 with a QD-OLED panel or the Odyssey Neo G9 with an 8K panel and mini-LED. Samsung Odyssey G9 (G91F)

Double QHD resolution with DisplayHDR 600
You’ll have to do without an OLED panel on the G91F, but Samsung doesn’t provide any information about the panel installed. However, it is known that the monitor operates with dual QHD resolution and 144 Hz and has been supplied with a 1000R curvature by Samsung. Certifications for DisplayHDR 600 and HDR10+ gaming are also available. The monitor is similar to the G95C (from €874), which combines 5,120 x 1,440 pixels here with 240 Hz and HDR1000 display.
The Odyssey G9 also offers Picture-in-Picture and Picture-in-Picture modes. With these, two different devices can be viewed simultaneously, with flexible size options available in Picture-in-Picture mode. With “Auto Source Switch+,” the monitor should be able to identify connected devices and automatically display them if they are activated.
