“Panther Lake” will be Intel’s first processor architecture expected to stem from its own new “Intel 18A” production model, although it remains unclear whether and, if so, which chips in the Chiplet platform will come from TSMC. According to X-User Meng, Panther Lake will celebrate its premiere this year with a 45-watt variant (Panther Lake-H), which will offer 4 P-Cores, 8 E-Cores, and a powerful IGPU in the X cluster. Various variants are likely to appear based on this chip, but other chip configurations are not expected until 2026.
The first Panther Lake platform is said to have more E-Cores than Lunar Lake, but fewer P-Cores than Arrow Lake-H.

It is currently assumed that Intel Panther Lake will compete in the U, P, and H classes as a pure notebook platform and the successor to Arrow Lake-H, possibly also Lunar Lake. Unlike Lunar Lake or Arrow Lake, Panther Lake must be mostly re-fed to the foundry. “We’re re-fed everything,” Intel said at CES in January, before the GPU tile was to be re-fed, but without naming the exact foundry.
Panther Lake is rumored to feature an IGPU with four 3rd-generation Xe cores (Celeste), which is manufactured in Intel’s 3rd generation. A 12-core XE processor, on the other hand, is to be manufactured at TSMC at N3E. The platform controller (PCD) could also come from TSMC again, but nothing has been confirmed so far.
