In addition to the official product ideas, Be Quiet! Another project for Computex 2025 is in your luggage and welcomes feedback from the community. The Project Light Base Stand, the manufacturer, is expanding the installation options for its light base housings with a fourth orientation.
The new stand makes cables disappear
Last year at Computex, Be Quiet! With the Light Base 600 and the innovative Light Base Housings, which can be installed in three different orientations without major conversions. The housing can be used in a classic, inverted, or horizontal position thanks to the housing feet, which can be positioned on different sides.
A year later, the German manufacturer is showing a concept that makes a fourth orientation possible at the Taipei Fair. The “Project Light Base Stand” is a frame on which the housing can be placed, with the panel connections pointing downwards at the rear. As a result, the housing can be positioned freely, while the cables can largely disappear behind the frame and be discreetly removed through a small opening. Another advantage of this orientation is that it has the smallest footprint, i.e., the smallest surface area.

Feedback Desired
Be Quiet! The light base was available in various variations, with metal and wood being featured in various colors and designs as materials. However, this is not yet a finished product, but rather a concept study by the manufacturer. Therefore, no possible prices can be mentioned.
Be Quiet! wants to use the fair’s spotlight and associated reports to determine if the booth is a reasonable product, one that users are interested in, and one that is worthwhile for market launch. The manufacturer is therefore asking for feedback from the community to find out what they think of the concept.
