Radeon RX 9070 (XT): PowerColor displays the next “Red Devil” 112 comments

CES 2025 begins next Tuesday, when the next generation of AMD Radeon graphics cards will be announced, including the Radeon RX 9070 (XT). Taiwanese AIB and AMD exclusive partner PowerColor is already showing teaser images on social media for the spearhead of its own portfolio, the Red Devil.
In a first teaser on X and Instagram, PowerColor showed the Red Devil logo in a continuous-flow graphics card cooler, which in this form does not fit any already available graphics card. Today we added more and published a second photo that shows more of the graphics card with its three fans.
With the RX 9070 XT, AMD will not be involved in the fight for the absolute performance crown in the GPU market; The top-end model in the Radeon portfolio will be a mid-range graphics card. There are currently conflicting rumors about expected performance; Performance slightly better than the RX 7900 GRE and within striking distance of the GeForce RTX 4080 has been reported in leaks. Next Monday, January 6, AMD will present its keynote at 8:00 p.m. German time, before the official start of the show, during which the RX-9000 series graphics cards will be officially presented.
