RTX 50 Series Rumors: 16GB VRAM for GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, 8GB for RTX 5060

Alongside new rumors about the GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5070 Ti, new speculation is currently circulating on the two smallest Blackwell gaming : GeForce RTX 5060 Ti and GeForce RTX 5060. The Ti version therefore arrives directly with 16 GB this time, the non-Ti version, however, again with 8 GB.

No GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 2.0?

In this generation, Nvidia was able to avoid a real “shit storm” that was brewing around the world after the introduction of the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti with barely more performance and 8 GB more VRAM than its predecessor. The GeForce RTX 4060 should, however, remain at 8 GB.

Just last week, the 8 GB of the GeForce RTX 4060 was once again very critically evaluated in the Intel Arc B580 12 GB test, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (technical test) had also once again shown a week earlier that this VRAM expansion in this class also makes scenarios impossible that would still be possible based solely on raw GPU performance and with the help of DLSS.

A GeForce RTX 5060 Ti with 16 GB could be the reason why the RTX 5070 Ti, probably also with 16 GB, will appear shortly after the GeForce RTX 5070 with probably 12 GB.
