Last week, AMD released another processor in addition to the Ryzen 9 9950X3D, 9900X3D and Ryzen 5 9600: Without mentioning it, there is now also an AMD Ryzen 5 7400F. This has only one difference compared to the long-available AMD Ryzen 5 7500F: the turbo frequency drops from 300 MHz to 4.7 GHz.

On paper, the gap on the CPU side is larger than between the 7500F and 7600. However, the price difference is influenced by the fact that the iGPU has also been disabled in the smaller F – 50 model US dollars separate the two on paper. there are only around thirty euros left in this country.
It is currently unclear how much the new AMD Ryzen 5 7400F will cost. The new processor, like the recent AMD Ryzen 5 9600, has been quietly added to the AMD product database.
The new smaller Ryzen for socket AM5 will be available globally with a Wraith stealth cooler, so it won’t be exclusive to OEMs.
