Patch 1.3 for Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, which brought over 1,200 improvements, was only released early last week. Now the significantly smaller patch 1.3.1 is available. The 10.6 GB fixes story blockers and tech issues.
Focus on the story
In addition to the manageable download size, the list of changes in this minor patch is also quite short. Fifteen bug fixes affect the main story, side quests, and encounters. Some plot stoppers, that is, bugs that prevent the successful completion of a quest and, in the worst case, prevent progress in the story.
Almost half of the technical side has been fixed on the technical side. For example, these led to NPCs not being able to return to their place after a broadcast, sound effects being able to repeat every 10 seconds, or drag and drop actions having a noticeable delay. Additionally, crossovers have disappeared, sound glitches and a dozen exception_access_violations and other crashes are placed.
