Valve continues to hold smaller discounts with a clear genre or Steam-themed reference, outside of the four major annual Steam sales. It means always, always, always. Now, a discount campaign has begun, allowing players to collect and tame fantasy creatures and monsters.
Creatures Must Be Collected
Valve appears to be able to let them into the country without a Steam sale for two weeks, again, a great creativity: until next week, there’s a discount on Monday at 7:00 PM, allowing players to find, collect, and tame fantasy companions, creatures, and monsters. Many readers are certainly still aware of the term “Review” (€21.74; -25%), which was all the rage at the beginning of 2024. In fact, there are countless other games on Steam to which this description applies at least to a limited extent. Creatures of Ava (€14.99; -40%), Slime Rancher 2 (€19.94; -30%), or Cult of the Lamb (€11.49; -50%) are examples. As usual, a campaign trailer briefly introduces some of the participating games.
In addition to the discounted Creative Collectors, Valve is also moving free demos, which will be released soon. In addition, there are three new drafts in the Steam-punkteshop. Until the end of the campaign, an animated avatar, a profile frame, and an animated sticker can be purchased for free.
As always, it’s worth keeping in mind that sale prices don’t necessarily have to be the lowest prices.
