Intel CPU Tuning Tool: ThrottleStop 9.7 Changes DDR Memory Speed Monitoring 1 comment
Version 9.7 of the ThrottleStop system tool, designed to manage clock speeds and voltages of Intel processors, has been released. New is the V/F tuning of the core and cache for unlocked 10th generation and newer HX and K series processors. In addition, the method of monitoring DDR memory speed has been changed.
Another new feature in ThrottleStop 9.7 for Windows is an additional adjustment of the turbo power limit, min/max speed change, and PROCHOT offset values per profile. An option has also been added to enable or disable the Safe Boot feature.
The official ThrottleStop 9.7 release notes also list minor bug fixes. For example, the notification area icons have been fixed to improve compatibility with Windows 11. He goes on to say that the power plan selector has been fixed and the number of choices has been increased from 8 to 12.
