Ucreen is announcing more details on upcoming KI-NAS systems at Computex 2025. Specifically, the functions that users can perform with the integrated LLM are something the company is specifying. There’s no confirmation of the processor in the IDX6011 Pro, but the Intel Ultra 5 125H core in the IDX6011 is confirmed.
Local AI without Data Use for Training
AI on NAS systems runs locally, so the data is not accessible to anyone except the users themselves. Ucreen also promises that any data stored on the NAS will not be used for AI training. The large language model (LLM) used initially doesn’t offer cloud functionality. If this feature is added later, UREENS hopes to eventually offer it so users can decide for themselves whether or not they want to switch to the cloud.
AI Features of the New Ucreen-NAS
Ucreen sees the purpose and positive benefits of AI on the NAS, particularly among photographers, video creators, and users who have to manage very large amounts of data and need to search through this information.
New NAS systems confirmed and mentioned so far include LLM search, AI chat, AI photo album, smart search, smart tags, and a smart meeting summary.

Users can provide personalized queries via the AI chat, whose answers are based on data stored on the NAS. For example, if you no longer remember which document contains the information you’re looking for, you can also get the answer from that search. With an update, the AI chat should also allow internet access, so you can also access answers away from data stored locally on the internet.
Magic Box with Question Templates
The Magic Box, which is also expected to arrive with an update, offers users contextual question templates, which can be used, for example, to receive travel suggestions or travel plans, as well as social media posts.

Meeting Summary

Photo Album ki
Intelligent image detection of image content in the photo album ensures that search queries return thematically appropriate images. Locations, animals, texts, objects, and people are supported. Search is also semantic, so users can use natural search queries and descriptions to find relevant content. In the photo album, text recognition can also be used to identify text in images, extract it, and make it searchable. If the model doesn’t recognize an object, users can also train it themselves using image samples so that matching content can be found in the future.
LLM Search

Ucreen has already revealed the technology of the two new AI-NAS IDX6011 and IDX6011 Pro. The UGREEN IDX6011 has 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, six SATA drives, and two M.2-NVME slots for up to 160 TB of storage capacity. The network connection is via two 10 Gigabit ports that support a 20 Gbps connection agreement. The processor uses the Ultra Core 5 125H with 14 cores and 18 threads with a maximum turbo clock speed of 4.5 GHz. A PCIE-X8 slot for expansion cards is also available in the IDX6011. Other connections include two Thunderbolt-4 ports, four USB A connections (2 × USB 3 with 10 Gbit/s, 2 × USB 2 with 480 Mbit/s), an SD card reader and an HDMI output.
The IDX6011 Pro NAS differs in its processor, RAM, an additional connection, and a status display. Since the IDX6011 Pro relies on a second-generation Intel Core Ultra, which has not yet been specified, it offers 64 GB of DDR5 RAM instead of 32 GB and has an additional OcuLink connection.
