Winter sales: GOG attracts discounts and free games 56 comments
The GOG gaming platform is starting its winter sales. Many games will have their prices reduced, some significantly, until January 3, 2025. There is also an Advent calendar which offers a free game every day until December 31.
New and old games on sale
The winter campaign started today and includes 6,576 matches. In addition to a variety of small independent games, there are also AA and AAA productions and oldies. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (test), already considered cult, is available in standard edition for just under 6 euros and in complete edition for 10 euros. Cyberpunk 2077 (test), available for 27 euros, is in the same vein. However, it is also available at a discount on Steam and the Epic Games Store for the same price. Classics like Theme Hospital for around 1.40 euros and Deus Ex Goty for around 1 euro are also represented.
Winter calendar with free games
In addition to discounted games, a winter sale calendar also offers a free game every day until December 31, 2024. Today’s game at the start of the campaign, The Whispered World: Special Edition, is a point-and-click adventure from German development studio Daedalic Entertainment. Doors change every day at 3 p.m.
