Xiaomi is also bringing the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra to MWC in Europe, but the Xiaomi 15 Pro is China-only. The Ultra costs 1,500 euros and “All in” goes to the cameras and almost looks like a Leica camera when you choose the color. The Xiaomi 15 costs 1,000 euros and remains relatively compact.
Start in Germany for 1,000 and 1,500 euros
From the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, 15 Pro and 15 previously presented in China, today the company brings the entry-level model and the top model to Germany. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra costs 1,499.90 euros with 16 GB / 512 GB or 1,699.90 euros with 16 GB / 1 TB and is offered in black, white and “chrome silver”. For the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, a “Photography Kit Legend Edition” is also offered for 199.99 euros. The Xiaomi 15 is 999.90 euros with 12 GB / 256 GB or 1,099.90 euros with 12 GB / 512 GB and is in black, white. Green and “cash” to choose from.
Discounts and bundles in the first two weeks
But Xiaomi wouldn’t be Xiaomi if there weren’t several offers at the beginning. From March 3 to 16, buyers will receive the ULTRA with 1 TB for 1,499.90 euros and an L1 projector for free. Xiaomi also includes the 512GB model projector, but the price remains the same, so 1TB remains the logical choice. Anyone who buys an Ultra can buy the Camera Agent (Photography Kit Legend Edition) for 99.99 instead of 199.99 euros.
Xiaomi also still includes the L1 projector from March 3 to 16. There are also four months of Spotify premium and three months of YouTube premium for all buyers.
Almost a two-tone Leica camera
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra would increase the cooperation with Leica to a new level. When choosing the two-tone model, the smartphone almost looks like a Leica camera. Compared to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, there are slight adjustments to the round camera, which has now been integrated into the body with fewer gradations. 5.71mm instead of 6.25mm previously adds “camera island” of regular 9.35mm build depth.

Quad camera with focal lengths from 14 to 100 mm
In the camera module on the back, Xiaomi accommodates four cameras developed in cooperation with Leica, which initially cover focal lengths of 14, 23, 70 and 100 mm. A sensor crop also supports 28, 35 and 46mm on the main camera, while the large telephoto lens can be increased to 200mm with this method.
Large 1-inch sensor from Sony
For the main camera, Xiaomi relies on the Sony Lyt-900 image sensor of the 1-inch class, which offers 50 MP and pixel binning on 12.5 MP for “3.2 μm” Pixel-it is native to 1.6 μm. The large 1/2.76″ Samsung JN5 with 50 MP is also responsible for ultra-wide angle photos. This is followed by a large 1/2.5″ Sony IMX858 for the TELE lens with triple magnification. On the other hand, the large 1/1.4″ Samsung HP9 for the 100mm lens achieves a plus of 200 MP.

Three cameras for the Xiaomi 15
The smaller Xiaomi 15 manages with three cameras with 50 MP each. The main camera with 23 mm focal length gives Xiaomi its own Light Fusion 900 with a size of 1/1.31 “and 2.4 μm large pixels. The ultra-wake angle camera with 14 mm also uses the Samsung JN1 with 50 MP, but without the auto focus of the Xiaomi 15 ultra. For the zoom, there is a 60 mm lens with the 1/2.76″ ” Samsung JN5 to choose from.
Super bright OLED displays
The Xiaomi 15 should also appeal to those who prefer slightly smaller smartphones. The screen stands at 6.36 inches with 1200p resolution, 120 Hz and up to 3,200 cd/m² at the top. HDR is supported in Dolby Vision and HDR10 (+) standards. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra offers practically identical technical properties, but at a larger 6.73 inches and with a resolution of 1440p. Additionally, a newer generation is used with the Xiaomi Shield Glass 2.0.
Same processor, different batteries
There is almost a link again under the screen, where the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 elite is installed in both devices, there are only differences in RAM and UFS. This also applies to batteries, but here not only in direct comparison with each other, but also with the Chinese Xiaomi-15 series.

The 15 Ultra offers 5,410 mAh instead of the 6,000 mAh in China. The Xiaomi 15 in Germany reaches 5,240 instead of 5,400 mAh. Both smartphones can be charged with up to 90 watts over USB-C 3.2 or wirelessly. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 are wireless to choose from, mobile radio can be made from 2G to 5G, by which dual SIM support is made possible with dual nano-SIM, dual ESIM or mixed operation.
6 years of security updates
Xiaomi ships the smartphones with the current Android 15 and its own Hyperos 2.0 user interface. The company wants to make new major versions of the Android operating system available for the next four years and the monthly security patch for six years.
