The controllers and First-party games are also getting more expensive: $79.99 USD instead of $69.99 from 2023, which is expected to apply to select titles from their own studio for the holidays later this year. While Microsoft hasn’t mentioned the software yet, it should behave exactly the same in the EU. Prices for previously released games are not expected to change.
Starting May 1st, Microsoft will adjust the prices of Xbox consoles and controllers in the Xbox Store and provide updated recommended prices to local retailers. Some of our new first-party games may continue to change to $79.99 starting this holiday season. Some Xbox controllers, like our Adaptive Controller and Adaptive Joystick, will remain the same price.
