Straitement4 Studios, with software from the publisher Giants, known for the Agricultural Simulator series, has announced a new racing game for the fourth quarter of 2025, Project Motor Racing. The title features over 70 vehicles and 27 tracks recorded with lasers and is based on the Giants 10 engine.

Game Scope: Over 72 Cars

The developers at Straitement4 Studios, led by Ian Bell, who has previously worked on Project Cars, GTR, GT Legends, Need for Speed, and Test, are promising 72 modern and classic licensed cars for release in the fall. The cars are available in ten different racing classes, including GT3, LMP, Hypercar, GT, and N-GT, and in various time zones, and can be driven by the player on 27 race tracks. To ensure realistic handling, the developer promises on the game’s website that all vehicles have been tested by racing drivers, factory drivers, and SIM racing professionals. The routes have been laser-scanned for high accuracy and authenticity.

With the title, Straitement4 Studios aims to appeal to both beginners and professionals. The game features a single-player career, various online racing modes, in-game events, and a “4-camera racing experience.” A permanent online connection is not required.

Confirmed routes

A total of 27 laser-scanned race tracks are to be included in the game. The actual number of players who will be involved at launch is still unknown. Four routes have already been confirmed, including the world’s most famous race track: The Green Hell or Nürburgring Nordschleife.

So far, 20 of the promised 72 cars are known. Six more GTE cars will join them. Other routes and cars are to be released as per DLCS release and are included in the Season Pass. System Requirements

An overview of the system requirements doesn’t reveal much, partly because the Steam store doesn’t provide any information on resolution, quality level, or frame rate. However, at least 8 GB of RAM and Windows 10 (for DirectX 12) should be required. An older model such as an AMD Ryzen 3 3100 or Intel Core i5-8400 is sufficient for the minimum requirements, with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X recommended. A GeForce GTX 1060 with 6 GB of VRAM or a Radeon RX 580 should be sufficient as a graphics card. A six-year-old GeForce RTX 2060 with 6 GB of VRAM, or something comparable from AMD, is also recommended. Only 35 GB of free hard drive space is required.

With this hardware, the game is intended to offer animated cockpits, which, for example, display heat or cold shells in greater detail. The weather is expected to behave dynamically, and a full 24-hour cycle with day and night is implemented. This also includes the so-called True2Track system, which will implement grip conditions in the transition from dry to wet, including a faster drying racing line.

The physics system, called First Principle Physics, is responsible for driving the physics. The damage model is not only intended to provide optical effects. This is rounded off by support for virtual reality and triple screen on PC. Technically, the developers are relying on the Giants Engine 10, which is also used in Agricultural Simulator 25. As with the LS25, the Motor Racing project should be very friendly to community mods. System Requirements for Project Motor Racing Minimum Requirements Recommended Processor: 3 3100

Release and Price

Project Motor Racing is scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2025 for PC in the PlayStation Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The title can be pre-ordered in-game or on .de* for approximately €60-90. Pre-orders receive the GTE Decade Pack for free.

From GTR Revival, Project Motor Racing becomes

Project Motor Racing was developed until last summer by Plaion under the name “GTR Revival.” With the change of publisher to Giants Software, a Swiss company based in Zurich, which previously primarily handled the farming simulator game series, the game’s name was also changed. The developers promise a looser corset and more freedom in choosing car and racing series.
