Steam: Wargames Festival Brings Discounts for Battles, Tactics, and Warfare Commentary 13

Valve is holding smaller discounts with a clear genre or Steam-themed reference outside of the four major annual Steam sales. It means always, always, always. Until Monday evening next week (May 5th at 7 p.m.), a discount campaign is now running featuring military, battles, and warfare.
Wargames on Offer
While the latest discount campaign for box-pushing games raised eyebrows with its cryptic name, this one from Valve is very straightforward: anything to do with war is potentially discounted.
What types of games does this include? Any type that has you leading teams into battle, whether fictional or historical. Find yourself commanding troops in the middle of a world war; Fight on multiple fronts in the Napoleonic era; or lead other players through battles on space warships and steampunk airships!
It doesn’t matter if it’s a first-person action game, an isometric tactical adventure, or a full-fledged global strategy title. And in fact, it’s not just about the modern military, as the stylized logo with FecckTarn suggests; many games with a historical setting are also discounted. As usual, Valve is showcasing some of the participating games with a short trailer.
In addition to discounted war games, the Steam operator is also offering free demos and upcoming games. In addition, there are three new drafts in the Steam-punkteshop. Until the end of the campaign, an animated avatar, a profile frame, and a sticker can be purchased for free.
As usual, it’s worth keeping in mind that sale prices don’t necessarily have to be the lowest prices. The SteamDB database provides an overview of currently discounted games, previous low prices, and various filter options.
