Humble Bundle: Complete X-COM Series for €8.79 in the offer 16 comments
The X-COM series (later just XCOM) is one of the most famous round-based tactical shooters. Many titles have received multiple awards. The complete series, i.e., all major titles, including almost all DLC, is now significantly reduced.
One title is missing for a good reason.
The series began with “X-COM: UFO Defense” in 1994. In German-speaking countries, the game appeared under the name “UFO: Enemy Unknown.” There are now ten installments. The latest installment, “XCOM: Chimera Squad,” was released in 2020.
Part of the series is not included in the bundle because the game “X-COM: The Electronic Games” no longer exists. After Hasbro Interactive ran into financial difficulties, the servers were also shut down, and they have not been accessible since. However, all other main titles are included in the bundle.

Many, but not all DLC
All available DLCs are included for XCOM 2. At Enemy Unknown, however, lacks the “Elite Soldier Pack” DLC, or at least it isn’t listed individually. This DLC was a pre-order bonus for the main game.
Almost all titles are positively rated on Steam, with the first part, “X-COM: UFO Defense,” particularly standing out with an “Extremely Positive” rating.
Price and Availability
The XCOM bundle is still available in Humble Bundle until May 20th. €8.79 is due for all 17 titles.
This time, some of the proceeds will benefit the “Michael J. Fox Foundation,” founded by the Canadian actor of the same name, known from the future. The foundation’s goal is to promote research into Parkinson’s disease, which Fox also suffers from.
